That yellow shirt NEVER was cool...

BORN: August 25, 1957

PLACE OF BIRTH: Bristol, PA

EDUCATION: Majored in Communications/Journalism at Shippensburg State University, Shippensburg, PA from 1975-79.

G.P.A: Don’t ask!

MARITAL STATUS: married with three grown children.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 26 plus years in radio broadcasting, mostly as an announcer. I presently work as a newscaster and announcer at 98.5 WYCR/WHVR-AM, York, PA.

I also work part-time for Bell Socialization Services in York, PA assisting mentally-challanged and physically handicapped individuals interact with the community i.e. I take them shopping, out to restaurants and to movies and stuff.

PUBLISHING CREDITS: Besides the ONE INCREDIBLE DOG! series of children’s books, I've had five e-books, numerous short stories and several feature articles published.

HOBBIES: I enjoy reading biography, history, and non-mainstream inspirational literature by Christian mystic, A.W. Tozer.

I also love classic film comedy by greats like Laurel and Hardy, The Marx Brothers and W.C. Fields.

In recent years, I've become a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Beware of Manos, hands of fate!

ALL-TIME FAVORITE MOVIE: Friendly Persuasion (1956) starring Gary Cooper, Dorothy McGuire and Anthony Perkins.  Sons of the Desert (1933) with Laurel and Hardy ranks a close second.

RECENT CINEMATIC SURPRISES: I had the "privilege"of taking two of my Bell clients to see the new version of "Hairspray" and "Underdog."

I'm not saying I LIKED "Hairspray" but the music and dancing was pretty good and the sight of John Travolta and Christopher Walken dancing together was a hoot.

"Underdog" was the best of the two and the biggest suprise because I really expected it to be terrible. It turned out to be quite funny in spots and didn't drag on forever likemany of today's movies do.

Both get 2 1/2 stars out of 4 from yours truly (for whatever THAT'S worth.)

ALL-TIME FAVORITE MUSICAL ARTISTS: The Beatles, Moody Blues, The Who and Roy Orbison.

I am also on a life long mini- crusade to inform the world that the Monkees COULD AND IN FACT DID play their own instruments…see HEADQUARTERS.

FAVORITE FOODS: teriyaki chicken, shrimp cocktail, baked potato, fresh spinach, bananas and pizza.

PET PEEVES:  people that don't have any pet peeves really bug me! (Was that funny or what?)

DID YOU KNOW? A Christmas Eve tradition in the Williams household is watching the heart-warming holiday film Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964). Really. Honestly. It's a gas. We order Chinese and laugh ourselves silly.

Remember, you CAN argue with thousands of years of wisdom!
